One Month Shy of One Year

Eleven months old and turning into a little lady, Carys has changed so much since she was born. Ever since she started crawling, she has been happily discovering the world.
She is into everything, and loves to pull books off of shelves and DVDs out of baskets.

Oh here is a toy I haven't seen in a while.

But one of her newest "tricks" is climbing. She is a climber and so we have to keep our eyes on this little one.

She also started to walk in her eleventh month of life.

New Year's Day 2010

New Year's Day was a multi-celebratory event. Carys was able to spend time with her Aunt Amy for the second time in her life. Amy flew in from Florida for a visit and to celebrate Christmas with the Markiewicz family.

Grandpa Tom gave Carys a pot and a wooden spoon, leaving Carys with hours of entertainment.

New Year's was also an opportunity for the Markiewicz family to exchange Christmas presents. A Bucee's tshirt for Carys from Amy "Graphics", Kim's room mate.

A Puma outfit for Carys from Auntie Kim, so Carys can be stylin' and profilin'.

And...what's this? A Barbie ATV for Carys from Grandpa Tom and Nana Sharla. Looks like Carys will be mobile in another way ...time to terrorize the dogs.

It was really neat to see Carys was strong enough to dismount herself and likes to walk her ATV for now.
