Ava at 11 months

Ava's hair is getting so long now I have to pin it to keep it out of her face. Her eye sight is also better on the right side, so you will notice she will look at the camera with a head tilt.
Here is a picture of Carys at 11 months as well for a comparison. Ava looks older to me.
Ava is becoming more expressive and can even show you anger if you take away a toy. Carys and her play great together but if Carys takes something away, Ava has no problem taking it right back.
Ava has started to dislike baby food, spitting it out, so I have started to give her what Carys eats but cut up super tiny. She loves toast and peas.
Ava has started to take steps on her own, about 4 steps before falling is her average.
Ava loves to climb and sit in chairs. She loves Grams' old chair.
She really loves to climb on the toy chest in our dining room we use to store their coats. Hours of entertainment right here!
Ava is very curious, stepping on her tippy toes to see. She has also started her speech. She can say duck and dada. She used to say mama but it was just babble. She identifies a duck as duck and dada as daddy.
She also has a great turkey impression.

Cozy Coupe Sisters

One of Carys' favorite toys is her pink cozy coupe Grams bought her on one of her visits from Florida. This car has given hours of entertainment to Carys and now Ava. You can see how much Carys loves being a big sister.

Ava loves walking her stroller or even a chair around the house, the best part of Ava pushing the cozy coupe around is that Carys can steer it. Ava does not get "stuck" at a wall anymore.
