8 Months Old and A Whole New World of Discovery

Carys is now 8 months old and she changes so much each week that she has gone from rolling over a little to rolling all over the place to sitting up.

I love how she sits up, she rolls onto her belly, does a cat back arch and backs herself into a sitting position.
She is so happy. She loves being mobile, she sees a toy and goes for it. She does not have the coordination yet of crawling so she does a back arch and pushes forward on her head or just rolls.
She loves to razz or say da-da-da-da-da-da-da...she still needs to connect da-da with TJ but she is starting her vocabulary. She is also pulling up. She always liked to stand and now has the ability to stand up on her own via the coffee table or foot stool. Now when I go into her room to get her she is either sitting up or standing up waiting for me. Smiling.
She still has a big smile and the best giggle in the world.
The very best thing that is new this month is that she can give herself her own bottle. Her two bottom teeth have finally broken through. She is eating three times a day and loves her fruits, eats her vegetables and gags down peas. She is not a big fan of peas.

  1. Dear Carys,
You are the most adorable little niece an Aunt could have. I am very proud of you and your wonderful parents. Especially of your wonderful Mom who somehow manages to make these great posts for us on top of everything else she already had to do. I can't wait to see you and kiss your adorable little cheeks.
    Love,
    Aunt HOlley
