Carys has her party dress on, standing pretty, ready for day care.

Carys was born the day after Grandma Cheryl's birthday, so we met her for a dual birthday dinner on Carys's actual birthday February 4.
Then we had her birthday party with family on Saturday February 6. Auntie Kim was one of the first to arrive!
Aunt Jackie, Uncle Rad and Charlotte also came to the butterfly themed party.
Nana Sharla and Grandpa Tom came bearing huge gifts for the birthday girl.
What a spread, I made Carys bug mini cakes for her birthday. After decorating for hours on Grant's birthday cake, you would think I learned my lesson, but they turned out great!
Ladybugs, Bees, Butterflies and Dragonflies!
Carys the butterfly princess eating cake for the first time.
Charlotte the ladybug princess enjoying her cake, too!
Happy Birthday to you!Carys did not hold back when it came to eating her cake!
The aftermath of eating cake called for an outfit change.
Time for presents!

Lots of clothes from Grandma Cathy.
Blocks from Mommy and Daddy.
A bouncy zebra was the toy of choice given by two sets of Grandparents!
A book, The Day You Were Born, from Mommy and Daddy...as the polar bears danced the night you were born because no one in the world is like you!
