Ava at Two Months

Ava is getting so big and was 11 pounds 7 oz at her check up. She was about 24 inches long. According to the statistics, she has a small head, is slightly above average for weight but is long. These can always change but as of right now we have a tall child. She is fitting into 3 month clothing mainly because of her extra length. She is much more alert now and has started to smile. I definitely see her daddy when she smiles.

Along with her smiles, I have started to see the remnants of a dimple on her right cheek, very close to her mouth.

She also has very good head control and can sit up in the Bumbo chair. She has started to talk to us with a sweet coo...a sound we have missed.

She is very strong and can move her head from one side to the other while on her tummy.

She continues to be my sweetie, very easy to take care of. She is content laying on her activity mat or in her bouncy seat. She has started to sleep through the night but not consistently. We are grateful to have more full nights of sleep than not.
