Breckenridge 2010

Two years ago, the Stellers and Markiewiczs planned another epic ski trip to follow the great one we went on to Whistler, Canada. The plan was made to meet in Colorado and hit slopes that were favorites of the Markiewicz family but totally new to the Stellers. Carys was the new addition to the festivities but the amount of luggage that was carried up to the condo in one trip was the same!

Grant went to ski school all day while James, Holley and TJ hit all the best runs of Breckenridge. Carys and I stayed in the condo or went shopping as I am expecting another little girl in July.
The Markiewicz Family.

The Steller family. This was taken on the last run of the day, for some reason the lift was stopped and Iwas able to run uphill to click this perfect pic!
It was fun to see how much Grant had learned in ski school.

The evenings in the condo were the best times. Carys was able to play with her Aunt and Uncle.
While Uncle TJ and Aunt Lauren could be goofy with Grant.

The best part was watching Carys and Grant interact. Grant is 4.5 while Carys is 13 months but they are best buds. They played potsie.
Here is Grant sneaking in a little tickle. Where ever Grant was, Carys was soon to follow.

Cousins, a picture for Grandma.
Both kids in their p.j's.
By the last day, Carys was feeling really bad. It turned out she had a double ear infection but she sure found comfort in her cousin.
We spent our last night in a hotel in Denver. Here is James continuing his training for the Boston Marathon.
The rest of us enjoyed the indoor pool, though the water temperature was comparable to the freezing outdoors!
Yet another reason why Grant loves his Uncle TJ.
So sweet, water babies.

  1. Seeing these pictures makes me so lonesome for you all! So glad we have started this tradition. I love that the cousins will grow up close like I am with my cousins!
