With all of our family in town for Ava's baptism and beautiful fall weather, TJ and I thought it would be a lot of fun to go to the Houston Zoo. Last time we went, I was 9 months pregnant with Ava and Carys had a blast. Great Grandpa and Grandma Charest and Grandma Cathy had a great time spending time with all of us.

Aunt Amy got to meet her Goddaughter Ava for the first time.

Auntie Kim got to spend time with Ava and Carys.

There were 9 of us total, a special time to have TJ with both of his sisters in the same place at the same time.

Carys and I enjoyed a carousel ride. She chose the tiger but did not feel secure.

So we sat in the sleigh and she liked that much better.

Carys also got to go down her favorite, slides...a couple times with Mommy.

Several times with Daddy.

Auntie Kim took her down a big kid slide.

And Aunt Amy too! Too much fun!

Carys got to see her favorite, turtles!
But the tunnel to the prarie dogs was "funny". She giggled the entire time it took her to get to the end of the tunnel and declared "funny" when she got there.

Look at those prarie dogs...Auntie Kim and Carys.

There is another pair...Grams and Carys.

Look at those two, so cute...Aunt Amy and Carys.

A pretty day, a great day to be outside and walk. We took the double running stroller. Great Grandma Charest had a great time taking care of Ava.

Carys had a fun time "swinging" with Auntie Kim and TJ.

There were elephants.

The orangatan was right at the glass!

We had a nice lunch. Great Grandma loves baby Ava.

The ride home, Carys had a lot of fun. It was special to spend the day with family.
